Happy Friday EduCreator!

I started this AI for EduCreators newsletter a year ago and it was one of the best business decisions I have ever made! When it launched, I called it “community mail” because a newsletter felt like a huge task, but with the help of AI and my awesome AVAs (AI-trained VAs), I can send a weekly newsletter in less than 30 minutes.

This newsletter is how I stay connected to my community, keep you updated on what’s going on in the world of AI, and share how I’m growing as an entrepreneur in the most instructional way possible. It has led to some of my best clients and biggest deals. We now have over 1000 subscribers and it’s fully monetized.

You can do this too! Join me and Justin today at 12pmEST to learn more about the power of newsletters for social selling and creating multiple revenue streams from just one newsletter a week.

The Latest ChatGPT Feature Updates

OpenAI’s newest updates for ChatGPT—Sora, Projects, Tasks, and Operator—introduce a range of powerful tools to improve workflows, simplify tasks, and unlock creative potential. Here’s a quick look at what’s new, including easy steps to get started and how to make the most of these features (first 3 available on $20/month paid plan).

1/ Sora: Text-to-Video Generation

We’ve waited a long time for this one! Sora allows you to turn basic prompts into 5-10 second stunning videos or extend existing footage with minimal effort. It’s perfect for quickly visualizing concepts or enhancing your current video content.

How to use Sora:

  • Access Sora via ChatGPT

  • Enter a descriptive text prompt, such as “a sunrise over a mountain lake.”

  • Preview and refine the video until it matches your vision.

How to leverage Sora:

  • Visualize concepts: Generate videos that bring your ideas to life in vivid, dynamic ways.

  • Extend existing media: Seamlessly add new material to your current videos, keeping them fresh and engaging.

  • Experiment with creativity: Blend text prompts and visual elements for truly custom video outputs.

2/ Projects: A Centralized Workspace
Projects help you keep all your notes, prompts, and files organized in one place. This reduces the clutter of multiple tools and ensures that you can easily track progress at a glance. I give each of my clients their own “Project” which has been very helpful!

How to use Projects:

  • Open your ChatGPT interface and click on “Projects” in the sidebar.

  • Create a new project folder and add related documents, prompts, and files.

  • Use custom instructions to give each project their own unique settings.

3/ Tasks: Automate and Schedule Your Work
Tasks provide the ability to schedule prompts, set reminders, and maintain a clear to-do list. This ensures you never lose track of important deadlines or recurring activities.

How to leverage Tasks:

  • Set reminders: Schedule one-time or recurring reminders for important events or activities.

  • Automate updates: Receive regular briefings on topics like the latest industry news or project milestones.

  • Streamline to-do lists: Keep your tasks organized and on schedule with proactive prompts.

Tasks can generally be sent through several common channels, including:

  • Email: Directly delivering tasks to an individual’s inbox.

  • Text Messaging (SMS): Sending short, immediate task reminders via phone messages.

  • Collaboration Tools: Platforms like Slack, Microsoft Teams, or Google Chat allow you to send tasks to a specific channel or user.

  • Project Management Software: Applications like Asana, Trello, or Monday enable task assignments and notifications within their systems.

  • Mobile App Push Notifications: Some productivity apps allow you to push tasks directly to a user’s phone as notifications.

  • Desktop Notifications: Tools with desktop clients can deliver task reminders through pop-up notifications.

  • Calendar Invites: Scheduling a task as a calendar event, which can then be shared with others who receive notifications from their calendars.

  • Social Media Direct Messages: Messaging tasks through social platforms like Facebook Messenger or Twitter DMs (though less common, it can be useful for certain audiences).

  • Voice Assistants: Using smart speakers or virtual assistants (like Alexa or Google Assistant) to announce or remind users of tasks.

4/ Operator: Integrating AI-Agents into ChatGPT
Operator is a toolkit for developers that makes it easier to integrate ChatGPT into existing systems, providing streamlined APIs and interfaces for quick deployment ($200/month).

How to leverage Operator:

  • Easily integrate AI: Use Operator’s interfaces and APIs to embed ChatGPT into your software.

  • Save resources: Focus on innovation rather than the complexity of building AI solutions from scratch.

  • Scale efficiently: Deliver smarter, context-aware responses that keep users engaged.
