Happy Thankful Thursday EduCreator!

Last night was week 1 of a truly transformational 7 week journey. Josh from the Innovators Think Tank has put together a live educational event with Ross from Tech in Schools that will be a HUGE step forward for the EduCreators on our mission to disrupt the education system. After spending 5 hours in a group learning environment set up to serve all levels and provide personalized support, I understand even deeper why the work we’re doing is so important.

Most humans don’t have the patience to do what Ross and his team did last night. They are teaching us how to code, with the best resources available (same technology Nike and Netflix are using for their websites) from the very very beginning. This is monumental. The amount of consideration and care that goes into pulling something like this off on a live public forum is a monumental feat.

I almost gave up a couple times in the end because it got late and I was trying to put Romeo to sleep right as I was getting over the very last hurdle to finish the main task of deploying. There were people in the space that were cheerleaders encouraging us to keep going, and so I did. I could cry thinking about how profound this is. Because if I wanted to give up, so will most people.

I’ve decided to cancel Mastermind today. A couple of our hot seat participants had to cancel and my brain feels like mush, so I will reschedule for next week.

Homework:

This week, I challenge you to reach out to 5 people and offer to show them an AI tool (ChatGPT and Perplexity are great places to start) that can save them a ton of time.

Today’s Schedule (see “Events” below for links):

Have a great day!
