#5: Creative Community Mastery Course - Day 2
In 2024, email continues to dominate as the best way to stay connected.

Happy Tuesday EduCreators!
After Romeo was born, I made a barter agreement with my good friend Chandelle to provide me with post-partum doula support. It was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made for myself (and my son). She is very dear to me and I’m always wanting to connect more, especially since she’s right here in Miami with me.
The other day she popped into a Space I was hosting. How did she find out about the space? An email. This led to us setting up a much needed mama date (she has a 5 year old adorable son). You never know what will come from writing your community daily.
Emails are powerful for staying connected. Phone numbers change. Social media engagement shifts. Emails stay constant and are checked daily by most people.

Did you know that @beehiiv takes 0% of the money you make with their platform?
This is unheard of and a brilliant growth model.
This is why I decided to finally take the leap and join the Partner (monetization) program. 💃🏽

Day # 1: Laying the Foundation for Community Building
Welcome to Day 1 of "Creative Community Mastery: Engaging and Growing Your Audience"! Today, we embark on a transformative journey to build a vibrant, engaged online community around your content.
Understanding Your Audience To create a community that resonates, start by deeply understanding your audience. Who are they? What are their interests, challenges, and aspirations? Here's how to get started:
Conduct surveys or polls.
Analyze interactions on existing content.
Join and observe relevant online forums or groups.
Defining Your Community's Purpose Every strong community has a clear purpose. What will yours be? Consider these questions:
What unique value does your community offer?
How does it align with your personal or brand values?
What are the shared interests or goals of your community members?
Setting Achievable Goals Goal setting is crucial for community growth. Start with specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART) goals. For example:
Increase active members by 20% in three months.
Host bi-weekly live sessions to boost engagement.
Create a series of educational content based on community feedback.
Actionable Steps for Today:
Draft a brief description of your ideal community member.
Write down the core purpose of your community.
Set three SMART goals for your community's growth.
Remember, the foundation you lay today sets the tone for the growth and success of your community.
Stay tuned for Day 2, where we'll delve into effective content creation strategies for maximum engagement!
