Every Friday, I’m sharing a behind-the-scenes look at what I’m building, what I’m learning, and the tools, events, and experiences shaping the work.

This week I was building core memories with my adorably bossy and independent 3.5 year old. I wonder where he gets it from?!

Less than a month ago, I prayed for God to help me get a car. I was feeling overwhelmed, close to burn out, and knew that to go to the next level, in life and my business, I would need to be more stable, and therefore, mobile.

Within a week, I was coming home from church to a car being delivered to my door. I’m still amazed that Carvana is even a thing!

I chose this car because I’ve had visions of exploring Florida, and beyond, with my curious and sweetly helpful son. And this last week, those visions started coming to reality. We saw over 20 friends and family in just 5 days and stayed in some really cool homes.

I learned that trying to “work” and care for a toddler solo is nearly impossible so I’m grateful to be home and taking a moment to write this newsletter. In just a couple weeks, it will be summer and we’ll be back on the road. This was a trial run!

While I was on the road, with barely enough space to properly check my email or delegate tasks to my VA, I somehow found the time, energy, and capacity to mastermind.

Why and how?

There is something so powerful about two people coming together. It is truly a supernatural experience even captured in scripture

The mastermind concept was popularized by Napoleon Hill in his classic book Think and Grow Rich, originally published in 1937. Hill described the “Master Mind” as the coordination of knowledge and effort between two or more people working toward a definite purpose in a spirit of harmony. (Think and Grow Rich Tips)

Hill believed that when two or more minds come together around a shared purpose, something new is created. He described it as a “third mind,” meaning the group can generate ideas, insight, energy, and solutions that would not have existed through one person thinking alone.

That is why the mastermind is still so relevant for founders today.

Because most founders do not just need more information.

They need

Not random advice or scattered opinions.

The right mastermind helps you move from isolation to momentum.

It gives you a place to bring the idea, test the message, sharpen the offer, solve the bottleneck, and keep going when the work gets heavy.

What steps can you take to start masterminding with other creatives and founders?

Besides core memories and trunk tetris (because roadtrips come with so many bags), we are focused on getting back on track with sending at least one newsletter a day, Monday-Friday, for our own brands and those of our clients.

We’re also focused on other “owned media” assets: a new podcast, short form video content, and virtual workshops.

The goal here to is continue growing, serving, and engaging our communities with the information and education they need to get to their next level.

We are currently in the process of recording our first ever Bliss House Media Podcast called “Founders in the Build.” This podcast series will spotlight founders, both new and experienced, who are building. We’ll deep dive, Mastermind-style, into what’s working and what’s not, while engaging a live audience.
