It's a New Day

Hello EduCreator,

2025 is right around the corner and as we close up 2024 each day feels like a new opportunity to build, connect, and learn from the many lessons of our past. We have a new President-elect, mainstream media is basically a thing of the past, and everyday something new is being revealed to the public. Is the Golden Age really upon us? Is this the quiet before the storm?

Major Life Update

The OCC Agency just closed our first big deal with a wonderful non-profit agency in Philadelphia, PA, with two more proposals on the table! They were referred to us by my very first ever community member, MoNique. This is truly a full circle moment. MoNique joined my community and then became a coaching client 3 years ago. Now she is spreading the growth and education, which has led to more growth for the community.

When big opportunities like this present themselves, we have to make room. Sometimes this means letting go of what felt like THE thing we needed to focus on. With that being said, I’m no longer working at the Chamber of Commerce. I’m devoting my time fully to the OCC Agency and our awesome community of Founders and EduCreators.

Now that I’m not full time on the job site, I’m looking forward to jumping back into Spaces. I will be much more thoughtful and intentional about how I spend my time on social media as a whole and any live interactions will be purposeful, unless I’m just looking to be entertained which is a rare treat.
