What an amazing first week! Despite all of the technical issues we faced, we preservered and kept the show going. What’s the problem?

We start the week with Community Design and then build our way up to monetization because we know that if creators aren’t building genuine relationships, sharing high value content that solves their community’s/audience’s problems, and overcoming the mindset challenges, it’s very difficult to monetize online.

4 Ways to Email Writers are Monetizing

Partnerships

Partnering with brands, projects, and newsletter operators you trust is a great way to boost monetization. I’m sure you’ve heard of affiliate marketing. This is the next level where instead of getting a couple dollars or credits for sharing with your email list, you get 50% of the revenue generated. Just be sure you are really comfortable making these recommendations with your readers.

High-Value Content

High value content that solves your community’s pain points is key to monetization. Including links to partnership and affiliate programs through out the email is a great way to earn passive income. But this is only the beginning.

Creators now have access to the magic of AI for content creation. Use AI tools like ChatGPT and Perplexity to create educational content that really supports your members.

The Educational Email Course Creator GPT will create a 5-day email course for you along with a welcome email, a 5-week content plan, and take you through a validation process before even creating your course.

Use Beehiiv’s automation technology to set up a full onboarding sequences that not only share more about what you’re building and a beginning learning journey, but use polls and surveys to further personalize your content.

Cross Promotions

This is a big one! Beehiiv offers a full monetization program for creators and email writers looking to grow their email list and collaborate with other newsletter operators. Here are just 3 of the monetization features Beehiiv offers:
