The Solopreneurship TREND is Over

In 2020, while we were on lockdown, content creators were figuring out how to become entrepreneurs and run a business. Since then, being a solopreneur—running your business totally on your own—has grown into a major trend. But that’s all changing. The trend has run its course.

Going solo isn’t sustainable. And my guess is that many of the “solopreneur influencers” are just not publicly acknowledging their team and community. If you are in fact doing everything by yourself, burnout is lurking right around the corner.   Community will never “go out of style.” Humans have a survival need for building relationships and connecting with other humans in productive, meaningful ways.

• Fresh ideas = fresh results

  Collaboration brings together different perspectives, leading to creative solutions you just can’t dream up on your own.

• Less burnout, more balance

  Sharing responsibilities means more time to focus on what you’re good at—and less time stressing over what you’re not.

• Accountability

  Whether it’s a team or a community, having people both cheering you on and holding you accountable helps you stay motivated and on track.

Communities: The Secret Weapon
