Happy Monday EduCreator!
As we enter into Week 7, I just want to take a moment to express my gratitude for all the support. This weekend I forced myself to do something I struggle with and that’s reaching out to community members in the DMs to invite them to join the Founder Program. I was reminded how powerful it is to actually invite your supporters to support you. I got a ton of interest, a few maybes, a few “not right now,” and TWO solid yeses!
We have two new Founders, Sharon(@explorersofai) and Katie(@ikatiemusgrave), who both come with so much experience and support for our community. This means we have 1 Founder spot left.
In today’s space we discussed the importance of providing multiple pathways for your community members and fans to support you. We discussed adding things like the tip button on X or setting up a Buy Me a Coffee account and adding the link to your bio. I did that last week and this weekend I was showered with flowers from supporters. Check the bottom of this email to see.
Buy Me a Coffee, which can actually be any item you want (mine are flowers for example, see post below), is a great platform for Creator Monetization. Not only is it a fully functioning website with a shop, premium membership options for your supporters, and a way to get monetary support for offering value, it’s also a great way to grow your email list! Did you know when someone follows you on BMC, their email address is captured? Huge help for email list growth.
Check out this post to learn how to change from coffee to any item:
How to change your @buymeacoffee to the item of your choice:

Beta Group for Assessment Analyzer GPT
I’m looking for a group of beta testers for my newest GPT, the “Assessment Analyzer.” Create any assessment or survey with Google Forms and let this custom GPT analyze the results. Compare different students and get informed data for individual students. When you’re done analyzing, create personalized reports for each student. This will be a game changer for course creators looking to stand out from traditional online courses that most students don’t even finish.

Monday Theme: Community Design
Topic: The Power of User Generated Content
Mini-Lesson: User Generated Content
User-generated content (UGC) refers to any content such as text, videos, images, reviews, etc., that is created by individuals rather than brands. It is original, brand-specific content generated by customers at no cost to the brand. UGC includes customer reviews, social media posts, photos, videos, and blog posts related to a brand or its products. This type of content is significant for businesses as it can enhance buyer trust and engagement with the brand.
To encourage user-generated content for a brand, consider implementing the following strategies:
1. Create Buzz for Your Brand: Generate excitement around your brand to motivate users to create content[1].
2. Run Contests/Quizzes on Social Media: Engage users by organizing contests or quizzes that encourage them to create and share content related to your brand[1].
3. Leverage the Power of Hashtags: Utilize hashtags to make it easier for users to find and contribute user-generated content[1][2].
4. Offer Rewards: Incentivize users by offering rewards or discounts for creating and sharing content about your brand[3].
5. Ask Questions: Encourage interaction by asking questions that prompt users to share their thoughts and experiences related to your brand[1].
6. Prioritize Relevant Content Channels: Identify platforms where your target audience is active to focus your efforts on encouraging user-generated content in those spaces[2].
7. Use Employee Advocacy: Turn your employees into brand ambassadors who can amplify user-generated content by sharing and engaging with it[4].
These strategies can help businesses to inspire customers to create valuable user-generated content, which can enhance brand visibility, trust, and engagement[5].
