Collaboration is something that takes thoughtful intention and action. There is an art to it and when done well, the results almost feel like magic. But it’s really the power of human connection. Taking the time to truly understand the value we bring to the table, which can only happen over time as we learn what our community needs and the pain points we are solving, is key. Also, not rushing into collaborations and instead taking time getting to know the value the other person/people brings to the table is equally important.

The EduCreator community, with all 20 Founder spots now filled 🥳 , is becoming a powerful and influential Mastermind. Tomorrow we host our first monthly Mastermind session (RSVP here) as part of our AP for EduCreators group mentorship program.

Napoleon Hill defined a mastermind as a concept where individuals form a friendly alliance to encourage each other to follow through with plans and purposes. It involves the coordination of knowledge and effort in harmony between two or more people working towards a common goal.

If you’re not sure where to begin, start with creating categories for potential collaborations based on level of skill, size of audience, or any other value measures. When I joined X, I made a point to collaborate with other Creators that had about the same audience I did assuming they’d be more open to collaboration. I also made sure to lead with a ton of value when I was cold DMing creators with a much larger following. Both bring their own magic!
