Happy Friday EduCreator!

I’ve known for a while that I’ve needed to get on LinkedIn, but I can be a little hard headed until the time comes where it makes no sense to continue ignoring the signs! I’ve been convinced: much of our ideal audience (corporate clients) are on LinkedIn. Getting AI into the corporate level or into large public sectors such as public school systems and universities, will be a game changer.

Our challenge now is learning how to simplify everything we’ve been learning about AI tools for automating workflow and teaching through storytelling and community engagement. It’s important that whichever platform we choose, that we are spreading our message about the power of these emerging technologies for human advancement and development. We must understand the audience, their pain points, and the “language and culture” of the platform so that we are as accessible as possible.

If you are a LinkedIn Pro, please be sure to take advantage of the special offer I have below. This will be a great opportunity to shine and grow audience, while serving our community, and your own.

We are planning a community live social audio event and we want as many people to participate as possible. When we do things together, with a “definite purpose,” we are guaranteed to get results.

Have a great weekend!

Friday Theme: Monetizing with AI

Topic: Going #Ganggang on LinkedIn 💰

Mini-Lesson: How to Write a Collaborative Article on LinkedIn

LinkedIn has introduced collaborative articles that leverage AI-powered conversation starters to engage experts on the platform. These articles are a way for the LinkedIn community to share insights and perspectives on various professional topics.

The AI prompts are created by LinkedIn's editorial team and matched with relevant member experts based on their skills graph. Users can contribute their ideas, examples, and experiences to these articles, which are then rated by readers as insightful. Collaborative articles aim to facilitate knowledge sharing, boost professional reputation, and provide networking opportunities on LinkedIn.

To write a collaborative article on LinkedIn, follow these steps:

1. Understand the Concept: Collaborative articles on LinkedIn are a confluence of diverse perspectives, experiences, and insights from multiple authors on a single platform.

2. Find Relevant Articles:

- Navigate to LinkedIn's skills pages to find articles inviting collaborative contributions related to your expertise.

- Look for articles with a 'Contribute' button, indicating they are open for collaborative input.

3. Start Your Contribution:

- Click on an article that resonates with you and explore its content.

- Identify a section where your knowledge or experience can add significant value.

- Click the 'Contribute' button within the section you wish to contribute to and start drafting your input.

4. Engage and Follow Up:

- Monitor activity related to your contribution in the comments tab on your LinkedIn profile.

- Stay engaged to see the impact of your input, interactions, and further opportunities for engagement.

By following these steps, you can actively participate in collaborative articles on LinkedIn, share your expertise, and engage with a broader professional community.

To find collaborative articles on LinkedIn, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to Skills Pages:

- Visit LinkedIn's Skills Pages where collaborative articles are curated based on various professional skills like leadership, communication, marketing, etc.

- Explore the Skills Pages to discover articles inviting collaborative contributions[2][4].

2. Search for Relevant Articles:

- Enter related keywords in the LinkedIn search bar to locate skill-specific content.

- Choose the appropriate skills page to find collaborative articles nested within the Posts section[2][5].

3. Engage and Stay Informed:

- Follow the Skills Pages that interest you to receive notifications about new collaborative articles.

- Interact with collaborative articles by sharing, reacting, and saving them like any other post on your feed[2][5].

By following these steps, you can easily find and engage with collaborative articles on LinkedIn, contributing your expertise and insights to a broader professional community[2][4][5].
