Happy Tuesday EduCreator!

The benefit of being a teacher and a community leader is that I can turn any situation, good or bad, into a lesson. I never have to be a victim because I can turn lessons into blessings and turn any story into content that can serve as an example for others.

One lesson I’ve learned is the importance of having clear communication and policies when building a community. After a series of events with a former community member, we understand how important it is to have policies around bullying and harassment in writing.

I have zero tolerance for abuse of any kind after the past year I’ve had with web3 cults and wildly disgruntled banned community members. This is important to state. I have created this initial policy guide. We will build on it over time but please review it here when you get a moment:

In today’s space we discussed newsletter acquisitions as a secret sauce for monetization. I decided to go ahead and repurpose this post from a previous post. Pay special attention to the tools that allow us to easily create and sell publications.

4 Ways to Email Writers are Monetizing

Partnerships

Partnering with brands, projects, and newsletter operators you trust is a great way to boost monetization. I’m sure you’ve heard of affiliate marketing. This is the next level where instead of getting a couple dollars or credits for sharing with your email list, you get 50% of the revenue generated. Just be sure you are really comfortable making these recommendations with your readers.
