#43: Advanced Technology for Beginners

Happy Wednesday EduCreator!

I started hosting spaces about AI because I would go into space after space and all I would hear was highly technical language. I’d think to myself “if this is confusing to me, as someone who LOVES AI, imagine how much it will confuse 99% of the world.”

The Big Purpose of the One Click Creator Community and our EduCreators is to bring advanced technologies to the masses in a way that is accessible and beginner friendly. We are passionate about closing the current gap in education that is only growing wider and wider. With advanced technology like AI, blockchain, and the metaverse available to everyone (for FREE), now is the time to evolutionize education and training programs for all ages and demographics.

Why is being beginner friendly important?

As EduCreators, we are focused on growing our audience and community daily, or at least consistently. We are also monetizing our knowledge with advanced technology that is accessible to all. It’s very easy to get caught up in advanced level language (jargon) and highly technical vocabulary as we become more familiar with any area we are learning. The problem with this is it can alienate our potential audience and eventually slows down growth. I learned this the hard way.

Learning in live discussions with community is the best way. We can practice our language and incorporate storytelling. Mini-Lesson: What is Web3?

Web 1.0, Web 2.0, and Web 3.0 represent different stages in the evolution of the World Wide Web:

Web 1.0:

- Definition: Web 1.0 was the initial stage of the internet characterized by static web pages where users could access information but not interact with it.

- Features: Static websites, no user-to-server communication, content browsing only, read-only web.

Web 2.0:

- Definition: Web 2.0 introduced improved user interaction, allowing users to not only consume but also create content through platforms like social media.

- Features: Dynamic web applications, online documents, video streaming, interactive advertising, cloud computing operations, read and write web.

Web 3.0:

- Definition: Web 3.0 is the next evolution beyond Web 2.0, focusing on decentralized information exchange and ownership through technologies like blockchain.

- Features: Intelligent web-based functionalities, decentralized processes, behavioral advertising, edge computing, live videos, semantic searches, Internet of Things (IoT), read, write, and control web.

Web3 offers several benefits over Web1 and Web2, primarily due to its decentralized nature and user empowerment:

- Decentralization: Web3 allows users to own their content and have control over it, reducing reliance on centralized authorities like in Web2.

- Data Ownership: In Web3, users can exchange data across multiple locations simultaneously, addressing concerns about data storage and access present in Web2.

- Privacy and Security: Web3 prioritizes security and privacy, giving users complete control over their data, unlike the surveillance and control aspects of Web2.

- Inclusivity: Web3 is designed to be more inclusive and accessible compared to Web2, bridging gaps related to cost, location, and technical expertise.

- Speed: While Web2 transfers are quicker, Web3 offers increased security through decentralization, making it a safer environment for transactions and data management.

In essence, the benefits of Web3 lie in its decentralized structure, enhanced privacy, data ownership, inclusivity, and improved security compared to the centralized nature of Web1 and Web2.
