Happy Wednesday EduCreator!

When I was working in the DC public school system as a special education teacher and school leader, I was witness to all types of corruption. I thought that by advancing up the leadership ladder, I would have more influence over decision making and have more autonomy. I was in my mid to late 20s and still very much green to the world.

It took me 10 years to realize that I can’t fix a broken system from within. In fact, fixing a broken system isn’t the way to go about it at all. I realized the best way to address the grossly underserved youth in DC and many other cities across the country and worldwide is to build the solution.

I thought this would be a physical school but when 2020 came along and COVID had us all going virtual, I realized this was the way of the future. Since then I have been studying and building virtual communities for clients and for my own programs and projects.

OCC Metaversity is a big solution to a massive problem: 8 billion + people need to be safely onboarded into AI and Web3. What’s our biggest barrier at the moment? Not the tech and the community. We have all the resources we need. The school is open 24/7 and ready for class.

The barrier is fear. AI propaganda is real. In today’s space we had an important conversation about this.

What we’re building matters now more than ever. Our Founding EduCreators will be at the forefront of this moment. I hope you’ll join us.
